Lightweight injection-molded Polycarbonate shell construction with I-beam chin bar design offers solid dependable protection without the weight.
The CL-X5 has the flow-through "ACVS" - Advanced Channeling Ventilation System. 2 forehead intake vents and a large integrated rear exhaust spoiler are combined with sculptured air channels to allow the entire helmet to act as a full exhaust system. Fresh air is channeled at high velocity through the helmet, which draws heat and humidity up and out of the shell through 4 internal exhaust channels.
Bioceramic Nylex® liner and cheek pads are easy to remove for cleaning and air drying, and the cell technology reduces odor causing bacterial build-up. The sculpted wrap-around neck roll helps reduce wind noise. The chin strap is padded for added comfort.
The aerodynamic visor design provides maximum visibility and acts to force fresh air into the forward intake vents. The visor uses 3 machined aluminum visor side screws for extra secure adjustability.
A large eye port opening allows for excellent goggle fit and visibility. An integrated injection molded no-slip goggle grip design ensures your goggles stay in place.
