This is a Swiss Assault Rifle M57 Bayonet. A quality Swiss blade, from a country renouned for its cutlery! Blade is serial numbered #W424437. The blade is bright, outstanding for a 50 year old blade. The strange wear-like appearance of the blade is actually the original packing cosmoline! I have not removed it, as it is preserving the condition of the bayonet's blade!
