WELCOME. This auction is for a DC Comics SHOWCASE #55 from Mar.-Apr. 1965. This book was LOADED. It featured Dr. Fate and HOURMAN and has the origin of each in text. It also has the first appearance of Golden Age GREEN LANTERN in the Silver Age (it pre-dates GREEN LANTERN #40). Just for kicks it has the 1st Silver Age appearance of Solomon Grundy. This is a MUST-HAVE if you're filling in that run of SHOWCASE or are a Green Lantern fan. We try to have at least 2 people (with at least 20-35 years in comics) grade our books. This book grades out at a SOLID 6.5 F+ with the only problem area being the upper right corner. This item will ship well packaged.
