Rare Harvey Penick's Little Red Book on Golf 1st Print
Welcome....and Thank You for stopping by to 'take a peek' at my item for sale. You are considering what I think is a RARE find...Harvey Penick's Little Red Book...!!! This book is a rather Unique since it is really a compilation of notes taken by Mr Penick during his 60 odd years of giving golf lessons, which has included some very well known golfers like; Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Mickey Wright, and scores of others. It is worth noting that Mr Pennick that the Teacher of the Year Award given by the Golf Teachers Association is called the Harvey Pennick Award. The reason this book is titled "The Little Red Book" is due to the fact that during his many years of giving lessons, he would make notes in a red notebook he always carried with him. Being a golf fan myself, I'm always fascinated by anything to do with golf, especially so if it has anything to do with the history of golf...which this certainly does. Although the book is relatively small in size, it has 175 pages of golf wisdom between the covers. Tom Kite wrote in his comments about Mr Pennick and The Little Red Book; 'Whether or not you realize it, you are about to read one of the most important golf instruction books ever written, if not the most important. I have included pic's of other comments written by well known golf personalities including the famous Byron Nelson. This book is in like new condition, inside and out. As a matter of fact...it appears as though it's never been read. (I have another copy that HAS been read) I will note that it does have a company name stamped inside the front and back covers. Otherwise, it is just like picking one off a bookstore shelf.... If you are a golf paraphernalia collector, this is definitely a must have item for you.
