This First Day Cover is issued by Pos Malaysia to celebrate Malaysia as a host of Thomas/Uber Cup Championship.

Malaysia have win the Thomas Cup in 1949, 1952, 1955 and 1967.

The stamp with cancellation mark dated 11th May 2000 which each stamp valued at RM1.

The stamps featured the player executing a graceful forehand flick towards his opponent's court.

The stamps design by Peter Chuah PK.
