Hold the lead using the handle, the cord extends and retracts so that your dog can enjoy freedom of movement.

To lock the lead to prevent it from extending further simply press the one finger lock button.

Important: You should not allow your dog to run the cord to its full 8m length - use the lock before the cord gets to its full extension.
