This historic oil on a mahogany panel painting depicts life in Holland during the 1800's.  It shows a beautiful city scene on the cobble stone streets of Holland.  This was painted in 1863 by the famous Dutch painter P.G. Vertin while the U.S. was embroiled in the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln was president.  This painting comes with an appraisal to confirm its value and origin.  As an added bonus, the painting comes with a very ornate hand carved historic wood frame.  This painting really belongs in a museum!!  This has been a great masterpiece hanging in my formal dining room, but I need to move and I have decided to sell it.  I really hope whoever buys it will enjoy it as much as I have.  This masterpiece would be a wonderful addition to your collection or it could be a great gift for someone special who appreciates fine art!
