This is a half pound bag of Hibiscus Flowers Herbal Tea.  This size bag contains 8 ounces.  Also called roselle flowers. Sourced from North Africa, these hibiscus flowers are full flavored with a rosy tartness. This type of preparation is preferred over whole flowers for tea use.

To make hibiscus tea:  Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of hibiscus flowers per 1 cup of boiling water in a tea strainer or tea ball.  (You can add the loose flowers to a pot of boiling water, but you will have to strain it).  Allow to steep for 5 to 10 minutes.  It is great both chilled over ice or hot! 

You will receive approximately 3 cups in a 8 oz (1/2 pound) bag. 

Ingredients:  Hibiscus flowers.  No additives. 

All loose leaf teas are packaged in a heat sealed plastic bag with ziploc to ensure freshness and quality.
