Expert Review

This is the big sister out of the Horizon Merit V series and is my favourite out of all three. Why? Well it's a lot of machine for not so much money. A really good-sized platform offering lots of flexibility for creative exercising. The vibration frequency options are absolutely sufficient for the home exerciser trying to tone and shape the whole body in a short period of time.

You can even choose your specific timer settings in 1 sec increments. Alternatively you can work through 4 different pre-set programmes for upper body, lower body, abdominal or the total body.

The second console on the machine is really convenient designed as it allows stopping and starting but also programming the plate whilst you are doing exercises with both feet off the plate or in seated position.

The V 3000 feels like a sturdy unit and yet it is not too heavy for you to comfortably use the 'tilt and wheel' mechanics to move the machine in and out of storage. I thought the motor runs very smooth and a much better quality than the power plate models.
