DESCRIPTION: The "Blue Angel," is the Breitling Chronomat created in recognition of the U.S. navy elite flight team in 1992 in a Limited Edition of only 1000 pieces. This watch is a collectors dream. The Blue Angel Chronomat is one of the rarest and most sought after models in the Breitling collection.  Impossible to find, especially in like new condition with box and papers, this model was limited to only 1,000 pieces and very seldom does one become available. This watch has been worn only a few times and a almost new "Breitling" crocodile perfectly matching band has been added which compliments the watch perfectly. The last one we saw sold last year for $8000 and it's condition wasn't nearly as good and no box or papers were included. This is a deal! This watch has appreciated at an unbelievable rate, and with only a small production available, the skys the limit. This magnificent piece had a two tone head & padded crocodile bracelet, blue/ gold dial, automatic chronograph movement, date, sapphire crystal, water resistant 300m, screwdown crown/pushers, 40mm case. As the leading model of the Breitling collection, the Chronomat rapidly asserted itself as the reference in the specialized field of mechanical chronographs. Originally created to equip the famous Frecce Tricolori Italian flight team, the Chronomat has constantly evolved over the years, both technically and aesthetically, while retaining its unique style characterized by the rotating rider-tab bezel.  The Blue Angel is undoubtedly the most accomplished, with its generous, sophisticated lines resulting from a subtle alchemist's blend of proportions and curves. Beneath its rounded exterior, the Blue Angel is first and foremost a full-fledged "instrument for professionals," a sturdy, precise and functional chronograph. Witness its case equipped with screw-locked safety, pushpieces enabling it to withstand overpressure of 30 bars, equivalent to 1,000 feet in depth.
