A Victorian Cheroot case in the Aesthetic style with a Shakespearean Boar hunt theme. This wonderful case exhibits hand hammering effect and a die rolled, detailed boar hunt scene. I've seen this same scene on napkin rings, very rare ones. This case has an 1882 O date mark. It also bears the Gorham trademark the word sterling and the number 70 just inside the rim of the lid.
