A matching pair of bowls and under-plates by the Swedish firm K. Anderson of Stockholm. Each piece clearly marked by Anderson with the S7 1920 date mark. Hand Hammered finish through out, cast and applied Scandinavian Art Nouveau or Skonvirke decorations around the rims, heavy cast scroll feet. Each bowl has the following inscription "Kansliradet C.F. Vougt 27 Febr. 1921 Fran, Aktiebolaget Skandinaviska Electricitetsverk" I believe C.F. Vougt was the Secretary General of the Swedish Parliment. These are dent, ding and scratch free, they are in superb original condition. They rival the work of Georg Jensen and Evald Neilsen in quality and construction. They are substantial, weighing 50.83 troy ounces total weight. The bowls measure 3.75" high and 6 3/8" across at the rims. The under plates measure just over 8.5" across. The inscriptions are under the bowls, not visible while in use. They have a very natural warm finish, they have not been buffed or abused in any way. Email with questions
