A fine quality pair of Georgian sugar tongs, as best as I can tell the mark is for James Darquits Jr. 1793 date marks, George III duty mark. If I am right on the maker mark, it was produced in London. The bright cut engraving is crisp, there is no monongram and there have been no monogram removals. These are sturdy, full of spring, and have a nice natural patina, they are in excellent condition. Measuring about 5.5" long and weighing 1.1 troy ounces.
