This is an antique late Edwardian to early Art Deco 1920s fancy filigree 14K white gold ring with an amethyst cabochon stone. It is marked, tested and guaranteed to be solid 14K gold. The center amethyst has deep purple color and is over 6mm across. It weighs approximately 1 carat. Ring size is 7. The top is 3/8" North to South and measures 11/16" across shoulder to shoulder. Height is just over 1/4" tall. It has a very old resize which is still stable and secure but you may want to thicken the shank at some point in the future. The bands on these antique rings were originally made thin. This is how you know it is an early original ring. Condition is excellent, gently used. It is freshly polished and looks beautiful.
