1981 HARLEY DAVIDSON FXEF "MILWAUKEE SPECIAL EDITION" #584 of 1000 LIMITED EDITION TANK AND FENDER COMPLETE SET This is one of the first and definitely one of the rarest and most sought after OEM Harley Davidson Special Edition paint jobs!  The 1981 Milwaukee Special Edition paint jobs were made to commemorate the buyback of Harley Davidson from AMF and only 1000 of these were made for the 1981 FXEF Milwaukee Special bikes... of which even fewer are still known to exist!!    CONDITION: Please look at all of the supersized pictures and use the zoom feature to make your own final judgement, I have tried to highlight the item from all angles.  Here is the condition as I see it: - Tank and fenders are in ok condition, rough but runnable (look good from 20ft away).  They will need lots of restoration work if you're looking to show them or put them on a 100pt restoration. - The sheet metal is in ok condition, but each piece has a dent or two.  Please look carefully over pictures 1-12 and use the supersize and zoom options for details of the condition (worst areas are shown in close-up pictures 8-12). - The limited edition paint job is in fair condition but has definitely seen better days with plenty of scuffs, scrapes, chips, repairs, and paint wrinkling (again, these look pretty good from far, but are far from good when looked at up close).  Please look carefully over pictures 1-12 and use the supersize and zoom options for details of the paint condition (worst areas are shown in close-up pictures 8-12). - Inside of tanks still has the OEM factory coating and should only need light cleaning before running.  As with any tank a quality fuel filter should alo be used. - No gas caps or petcock included, come as shown in pictures 1-12.   FITMENT: - This was OEM Harley issue for the 1981 FXEF Milwaukee Special Edition Big Twin (Shovelhead), but will fit any Big Twin style frame with bob tank mounts. - Please verify fitment on your end before purchase with your model year/frame, or that you are comfortable with custom fitting to your application.  -
