Up for grabs is another hard to find vintage original chopper part:  ORIGINAL 70's AEE STYLE ACU-WELD WING TANK This is the holy grail of hard to find old chopper tanks! From the AEE Choppers Blog (http://aeechoppers.blogspot.com/2011/09/wing-tank.html): "This wing tank is an AEE clone built by Acu-Weld. Dimensionally it is a bit different and holds more fuel than ours did. It's layout isn't exactly the same but close. Wing tanks you either love or hate and you have to be real careful what you put them on. On some choppers it looks perfect others it looks like an abortive after thought.  Acu-Weld was actually SMC/Acu-Weld which eventually became V-Twin parts.  The very first wing tank was built by Dave Brackett of AEE Choppers and put on our bike named "Really" which was a Honda 350 chopper in 1969"   CONDITION: Please look at all of the supersized pictures and use the zoom feature to make your own final judgement, I have tried to highlight the item from all angles.  Here is the condition as I see it: - Tank is in overall good solid shape. Old heavy gauge steel construction has held up well and should be able to be put back on the road with very light work. - Steel body is in overall excellent solid shape, body has no visible dings or dents. Someone welded on front and rear mounts that can be used or carefully removed to bring tank back to the stock configuration (nothing was cut, mounts were bent around tank contour). - The paint has plenty of knicks, chips, scrapes, and sun fading that can be seen in pictures 1-12. - Inside is needs a good cleanout and should probably be sealed with a quality sealant like Red-Kote before it's ready to be filled up and run (see photo 12).  Would also suggest a good inline filter (which you should run on any tank regardless). - No gas cap is included.
