Up for grabs is another hard to find vintage original chopper part: ORIGINAL 70's ARIS TRIANGLE LIGHT.
This is the 100% original, real deal, rarest light of them all. Don't be fooled by the re-pops, if the glass lens doesn't have the Aris logo on the inside it's not the real deal! CONDITION:
Please supersize and use the zoom feature to take a close look at all of the detailed pictures and make you own final decision about the condition.
- Overall Very Good Condition, but is not in working order (no bulb) so is being sold as is/not working/for parts.
- Original "Aris" logo lens is in perfect shape with no visible crack, chips or pitting (see photos 1, 2, 9).
- NO BULB, will need new bulb and likely new wiring. Has not been taken apart or tested, sold as is for parts (see photo 10).
- Outer housing and trim ring are the correct 70's Aris (not the re-pop). Body is slim and with gently rounded corners and the mount directly riveted to the body, Trim Ring has only slight wrinkling on the back around the corners (70's quality manufacturing). See photos 3-8.
- Overall chrome is in good condition with some pitting on rear housing and a heat/burn mark (looks as if original halogen bulb/wiring shorted out). See photos 3-8.
- Original white rubber gasket shows age cracking all around with seperation on the right near the top and should be replaced (see photo 11). New cork gaskets are readily available for the re-pop versions and work for these as well.
FITMENT/SPECS:
- Adjustable tilting single bottom bolt mount.
- Will require dis-assembly and new parts before use (bulb, gasket, and possibly wiring).
