Up for grabs is an authentic 70's ARLEN NESS LOW WISHBONE BEND SPRINGER in great condition with tons of riding time left on it!  

Made by Arlen Ness in the 70's at Bay Area Custom Cycles (BACC) and later on by Century Enterprises.   This is the most desirable and hardest to find model with the low wishbone bend in the front legs.

 

CONDITION:

Please take a careful look at all of the pictures and make your own final determination on the condition, I have taken the time to take as many detailed pictures as possible so buyer knows exactly what they are getting. 

- Front end is 100% solid and true. 

-Chrome is in very good shape for the age, with only a few areas of light rust/pitting that should clean up, and two small areas where the chrome has chipped off (see photo 11).  Would require re-chroming for show but is perfectly useable for a rider.

-All hardware is present and in good shape, includes the 1" stem and 5/8" axle with spacers. 

-Rear legs show some slight damage at the rockers (see photos 9, 10), possibly from the rear zerk fittings hitting? Usually the rockers should be flipped and the zerk fittings run facing down.

 

FITMENT/SPECS:

Neck Stem Size (Removeable/Replaceable): 1" (mics out at .94) 

Axle Bolt Size: 5/8" (mics out at .622)

Length: 29" from bottom tree to axle (unweighted) 

Width: 5.5" in between rockers, 4.5" in between the front legs

 

SHIPPING:

- Springer is heavy and large and will require extra attention when shipping to make sure it arrives safely as pictured (especially internationally). I have done my best to make sure the shipping calculator is as close to accurate as possible but final shipping calculations will be made at the end of the auction once the springer is appropriately packaged for its final destination (within 24hrs of auction close I will provide a final invoice). Shipping price will include the cost of FULL VALUE INSURANCE, this is not an option due to the value of the item. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.  I will also ship by any method the buyer requests including using your own shipping account if you have one.
