You're bidding on a used Crosby-Western Block & Tackle Pully. The actual wood block is 6" long  x 4 1/2" wide. There's a 3/4" hook that measures 6" long. The entire pulley and hook measures approx 16" long. I do not believe that this pulley has ever been used, but it does show some wear because of it's age.  Please look closely at the photos, this is a great deal for the price that I am offering it at, especially when you compare to retail and other prices on eBay.  If you have any questions, please contact me.
