This wonderful Raku aromatherapy pendant measures about 2.5" high x 1 1/2" wide and includes the cork. It is beautifully strung with Japanese Toho beads. Bead strand is about 24 inches, and the pendant stand alone for easy filling. The photo shows the colors used in your piece, but each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
Raku is a style of pottery originating in the 16th century, originally used exclusively for the cups in the Sacred Japanese Tea Ceremony. The word Raku means "joy" or "happiness" making these vessels perfectly suited to hold Oshun Spirit gemstone essence aromatherapy oils.
This unfurling frond is beautifully detailed on both sides of the urn. It is glazed with an iridescent splash of pink and green over the light blue wash. The bottle is sealed on the inside to hold liquids.
The urn can also be used to hold ashes or herbs... I often wear one filled with a little water and a single blossom.
Don't stash these great bottle pendants away in your jewelry box when you are not wearing them... they make a lovely display in your home! (additional pendants sold separately)
