Very strong details with heavy strike and and much of the gold-gilt is still intact. The overall tone showing copper highlights which adds great eye appeal to this piece. Excellent condition and pretty close to nearly uncirculated. Measures approximately 28mm (a hair over 1") across. The reverse reads: "zum andenken an die feier der silbernen hochzeit" which translates loosely to 'the souvenir to the celebration of the silver wedding'. Nice Historical Medal and is much much nicer than my photos suggest. |
