Most notable probably is his depiction of Marilyn Monroe in his 'Red Kimono', 1975, published as the centerfold in Roger Taylor's anthology Marilyn in Art (1984).

Claude Jackson was a well known West Coast artist. He executed numerous fine works many depicting the great movie stars of early Hollywood.
The Artist, Claude Jackson died in 1990. He was an accomplished artist . Other than his art he spent his life as Art Director for Capitol Records in Hollywood, California. He was the designer of the famous lighted Christmas Tree seen atop the Capitol Records Tower Building each year and replicated all around the world since.
