The first issue's cover and logo were designed by the late, and very great, Rick Griffin. Other covers were by R. Crumb, Bob Zoell and Robert Williams. The lucky riders were bombarded with an advertisement for KSAN raqdio that occupied all advertising spaces on 100 buses. A 60 FOOT LOOP by Artist Victor Moscoso.
