This is a superb & rare "V" for Victory" Campaign button that was made for the 1944 Campaign of 

President  Franklin  D.  Roosevelt.

This 1 1/4th inch cello has an off-white  background with the distinctive "V" Symbol on either side.

In the center is a very tired looking 

President Franklin D. Roosevelt .

  On the button in black lettering it reads:

"FOR PRESIDENT

"V"

   FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT" .

This scarce button is in mint condition.
