This is a very  rare  button that came from the December 6, 1973 "Vice  Presidential  "Swearing  In  Ceremony" of 

Representative  Gerald  R.  Ford

as our Nation's 40th Vice President.

This rare,  2 1/4th inch cello has a mottled, off-white background with a rare "line-art" portrait of 

Gerald R. Ford

in the center.

  Surrounding The Vice President  on the button it reads: 

  "GERALD R. FORD

   40th Vice PRESIDENT

        Inaugurated Dec. 6, 1974" . 

This  rare button is in  excellent condition.
