This is a very rare button that were given to Guests of

ABC News  

who reported the current 1976 Election Night results between

President Gerald R. Ford

& 

Gov. Jimmy Carter.  

These buttons were normally kept as a Souvenir of the Event after the Election was over.  

A few people however,  did let their's go.

This 2 1/2th inch  Guest Button has a stylized, red, white and blue background with blue-toned pictures of both

President Gerald R. Ford

& 

Governor Jimmy Carter

    near the top of the button.   

At the top of the button is the Official ABC News logo.  

On the button in red, white and blue lettering it reads:  

"ABC  NEWS

  ELECTIONS   '76

    GUEST" .

This is a superb button is in mint condition.
