This is an uncommon button from the 1976 Presidential Campaign of 

President Gerald R. Ford.   

This button made it's first appearance the 1976 RNC. 

This 2 1/2th inch cello has a white background with a drawing of a 

  Happy Elephant.   

On the button in dark blue lettering, it reads:  

"REMEMBER... 

REPUBLICAN'S EAT PEANUTS" . 

This very unique button is in mint condition.
