This is an astounding button that's from the 1976 is a Campaign Unity Button that was made after

President Gerald R. Ford

defeated

Ronald Reagan

as the 1976 Republican Presidential Nominee.   It was also used as a "Hopeful" Button for a possible  "Ford ~ Reagan"  Fall Ticket.

This  3 1/2th inch cello, has a white background with a red and blue lettering.  

In the center are infrequent pictures of

 President Ford  &  Ronald Reagan.  

On the button it reads:  

"REPUBLICAN UNITY 

FORD ~ REAGAN

'76" .  

This excellent button is in a totally perfect,  mint condition.
