This is a very rare Inaugural Ribbon-Badge that I wore at the Gala 1977 Presidential  Inauguration of 

Jimmy Carter.

I was an Invited Guest to The Inauguration and I obtained this rare artifact there.

This rare,  3 inch Ribbon-Badge has a white background with a green box in the center that hold pictures of

Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter.

Attached to the Button is a  5 1/2th inch, red, white and blue ribbon.

  On the button it reads:  

"THE CARTERS COME 

TO WASHINGTON

Inauguration Day

   January 20, 1977" .

On the Ribbon itself in gold leaf  it reads:

"I WAS AT THE

INAUGURATION

   Jan. 20, 1977" .

This rare Ribbon / Badge is in mint condition.
