This is a  very rare button that was made for the 1976 Presidential Campaign 

of  

Jimmy Carter

and it features his wife, Rosalynn.

This 2 1/4th inch cello has a white background with a red border.  

In the center of the button is a picture of 

Rosalynn Carter. 

 Surrounding her picture in white lettering it reads:  

  "ROSALYNN CARTER

For 

      FIRST LADY in '76" .   

On the curl of the button it reads:  "N.G. Slater Corp., NYC" .

This seldom seen button is in mint condition.
