This is a scarce,  Officially Authorized,  AFL-CIO Labor Union button that was made for the 1976 Presidential Campaign of

 Jimmy Carter

 &

       Walter F. Mondale.

This 1 1/8th inch litho has a green and white background with green and white lettering.  

On the button it reads:

  "LABOR FOR

     CARTER - MONDALE" .

  On the curl it reads:  "N.G. Slater Corp., NYC" .

This button, is in excellent condition.
