This is a rare button that was used during the 1976 Presidential Primary Campaign of 

Governor Jimmy Carter.  

This is not a button that you run across very often!

This 1 1/4th inch cello has a very white background that's accented by a green border.   

In the center of the button is a negative field picture of 

Governor Jimmy Carter.  

On the button in white lettering the button reads:  

   "I'M A 

   SOUTH DAKOTAN 

 FOR 

   CARTER" .

This is a very rare button, and it's in mint condition!
