This is a very rare button that was 

released by 

The Illinois AFL-CIO 

for the 1984 Presidential Campaign of former

V. P. Walter F. Mondale 

& 

Rep. Geraldine Ferraro.

This rare,  2 1/4th inch cello has a dark blue background with light yellow lettering, and in the center is an outline of 

The State of Illinois.  

On the button  it reads:  

"LABOR 

  MONDALE / FERRARO  

  ILLINOIS AFL - CIO" .

On the curl it reads:  "Jansco, Inc., Chicago, IL" .

This exceptional button is in MINT condition.
