This is one of the more rare buttons that was made just for the

1988 Republican National Convention 

in 

New Orleans, Louisiana.

This 3 1/2th inch cello has a stylized white background with blue printing.  

In the center of button is a "line-art" drawing of

New  Orleans  Riverboat.

On the button, it reads:  

"WELCOME TO

REPUBLICAN  NATIONAL  CONVENTION

NEW  ORLEANS

    August 25 - 28, 1988".

This  RARE button is in mint condition.
