This is a  delightful  button,  that comes from the

1976 Republican National Convention.

This 3 1/2th inch cello has a white background with red and blue lettering.

 

On the button is a 

"Republican Elephant" 

that's sucking up as many "Peanuts" as it can while it leaves many crushed "Peanuts" in it's wake.

On the button it reads:

"PEANUT BUSTING MACHINE" .

This superb button is in totally mint condition.
