According to "Hake's", this is one of the very hardest buttons to find buttons from the Presidency of President Gerald R. Ford.
This button marks one of President Ford's first domestic trips taken not long after his Inauguration in 1974.
This 2 1/4th inch cello has a white border with a stylized background made up of an American Flag.
In the foreground is a very uncommon picture of President Ford that you don't ever find on another one of his buttons.
Surrounding him on the border in black lettering it reads:
"PRESIDENT FORD'S VISIT TO SOUTH DAKOTA OCT. 16, 1974" .
On the curl it reads: "Made by Discovery Corp., Rapid City, SD" .
Plus it's in totally mint condition.
