Looks very much like a big green apple reaching 5-7" across. Dries well and has great potential for crafts.
For best results, plant in full sun, 1/4 inch deep and at least 6 inches apart. I let my vines crawl up a trellis rather than along the ground, but not necessary.
When dried, these gourds can be dried and used for craft purposes.
