A beautiful and easily grown annual with attractive fennel-like foliage. A unique mixture of mauve, lavender, purple, rose and blue. Very useful for bedding and cut flowers. The large seed pods can also be dried for winter decoration indoors. Flowers summer.

Sow seeds thinly, 0.25in (0.5cm) deep in flowering position. Keep moist. Or, sow in September for an earlier display the following year. Thin out to 8in (20cm) apart. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering, or leave for the attractive seed pods.
