This early blooming perennial is an old-fashioned single black hollyhock that looks most impressive in the garden. With an abundance of stunning huge 3-4" inch dark maroon blooms atop 6-8 foot stems, this heirloom hollyhock is a real eye-catcher. Blooms throughout the summer into early fall. Great for flower arranging. This reliable perennial is very vigorous and hardy in zones 2-9 and will flourish in full sun.
