Most types of incubators have an extremely slippery plastic tray that you set your hatching eggs on. This unfortunately, in most cases, causes 'Splayed Legs' in chicks.  As the chicks/ducklings, following hatch, lack enough energy to support their own body weight, this combined with a slippery wet plastic surface causes 'Splayed Legs', and unless quick action is taken will lead to the chick or duckling either dying or being disabled for the remainder of its life.

Here we have the lifesaving solution! As soon as you stop rotating or turning the eggs in your incubator carefully place a suitably sized piece of our 'Rubber Anti Slip Incubation Mat' under your eggs and allow your chicks to hatch. The chicks once hatched will be able to grip the mat and stand straight and firm without slipping around.

This mat is approximately 980mm x 500mm in size so simply cut it to fit your incubation egg tray.
