Description/Taste
The turnip-shaped sparkler radish boasts an attractive color mix of red and white. One of the most popular of white tipped radish varieties, the sparkler has a red base and a distinctive pronounced white tip. Sometimes not topped, the color of its greens shows a vivid colorful contrast. The edible greens are delicious, too. 

Widespread in ancient times, said to originate from China and Japan. Matures quickly. Likes rich soil. Keep well watered. Grow fresh crisp radish any time, will withstand light frost. 

Radish - (Raphanus sativus) tolerates cold conditions.  Young leaves may also be used in salads.  Matures quickly.
COMPANION PLANTING - LIKES: Peas, Lettuce, Beans, Carrots, Kohl Rabi, Parsnip, Onion, Mustard  
DISLIKES:  Grape, Hyssop
