25 Red Russian (Kale)
Non-Hybrid
Heirloom originating in Siberia, but first entering the marketplace in 1816. Also known as 'Ragged Jack'. Rare, attractive variety. Red frilly, oak-shaped, bitter-free leaves with purple veins. Hardy variety. Leaves deepen to dark green upon cooking
Red Russian Kale has an exotic name and, for a green leafy vegetable, a very different taste. It has a sweet taste, not bitter like traditional varieties of curly kale. It can be eaten as baby leaf or fully grown and still maintains its sweet flavour. Great to encourage the kids to eat their greens! And, it looks interesting with frilly leaves and a crimson veining.
Kale - (Brassica oleracea var. acephala) Tolerates cooler weather - mature plants tolerate frost. Pick whilst young for use in salads, or leave to mature for use like cabbage. Use in salads, stir-fry or cooked. Excellent poultry feed.

We cannot be responsible for shipping delays, quarantine impoundments or LOST or STOLEN items. Items BROKEN in Transit it is up to you to take the appropriate postage insurances. By you choosing which postage you want you are taking the responsibility of your items in your own hands. You should consider that Australia Post is not gentle on mail these insurances will make sure you items are covered for your requirements.
We are not responsible for postage times that Australia Post seems fit to take to deliver orders. We have no control over it. Please read the rest of this spiel as this is my personal experience with Australia Post, don’t write back to me stating how long the postage should be, this is my personal experience.
If you have a problem with the item contact me before leaving feedback.
Please wait at least 14 days for you items to arrive before contacting me, the post can very be slow and unreliable
Please note: Anything posted to Victoria or Tasmania seem to take the longest. As I can send anything to Western Australia and it is there 3-4 days.
Victoria has taken up to 21 days on occasions.
Tasmania Please remember Bass Strait is between us which adds on extra time as it goes by water not air mail. I am sick and tired of getting neutral or negative feedback due to something that is out of my control.
Thank you. Your business is much appreciated.
