This delightful book is AN ORIGINAL - a RARE FIND! It is in vintage condition, with an intricately illustrated cover, on both the front and the back [see photos]. This is an heritage, educational piece. This volume was published by A. & S. Nordheimer, Toronto and Montreal. Although there is no publication date listed, there is a hallmark noting that the volume was "Entered according to Act of Congress, A. D., 1872, by S. Brainard's Sons, in the Office of the Librarian of Congress, Washington, D.C." The content of the book is accredited as "Kimball's New Method for the Reed Organ". There are hand-written notes inside the front cover of the album. It appears that the original owner was keeping track of lessons. The last note appears to have been made October 3rd, 1894. A fantastic historical record of someone's musical journey! This antique book, is a collector's piece, indeed! Following is an exerpt, from the preface of the publication: The work is divided into seven parts, viz: Part I.-Elementary; containing the Rudiments of Music....
