Auction is for a special item - a BEEFEATER (Yeoman Warder), stuffed Teddy Bear (Toy / Doll). The Yeomen Warders of Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress (Tower of London), are popularly known as Beefeaters. They are ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London and are, very much, a part of British Culture, Heritage and are a major tourist attraction, for Visitors to London, England. They bare (or should we say bear?), on their chests, the insignia of the current Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. This bear is about 10 inches tall and is resplendent in his royal red! A vintage item, he presents in great condition, with minor evidence or wear and age. He hails from Keel Toys Limited, of Ashford, Kent. More pictures are available, via email.
