Auction is for a Large (Giant) Collectible HOCKEY CAN. This CAN is from the Gold Medal Win, by Team Canada (the first in 50 years), over Team USA, in Salt Lake City, during the 2002 Winter Olympics. The story was that of legend, when it was learned that, once again, the Canadians had frozen a Canadian Loonie (a $1 Coin piece), under centre ice. This massive Can, is a piece of SPORTS MEMORABILIA HISTORY. Inside the can, are 3 bags of Cheese Nachos (Tortilla Chips), from Doritos (Frito Lay). IF YOU ARE A HOCKEY, SPORTS AND/OR OLYMPIC FAN, this item is for you! Put it to use, as a Basket, Trash Can, or Stick / Bat Stand, or put it on Display! Would be great in a Club, Rec Room, or even a Kid's Room, to hold Toys & Sports Equipment!
This CAN is in great, vintage condition. This CAN is NEW and UNOPENED. It still sports its plastic seal, around the rim. On one side of the can, is a removeable, easy peel-off sticker, promoting Doritos. We have left it intact, to preserve the original condition of this collectible item. The can is approximately 11 & 1/2" in height and 10 & 1/2" across. A wonderful addition to any Hockey / NHL, Olympic, Can, or Sports Memorabilia collection. It would be a great conversation piece, when in use, or on display, in a Bar, Rec Room, Garage, Sports Display etc. [see photos]. More pictures are available, via email.
