For a number of years we have built and sold a solid oak portable birthing stool for midwives or home births.

 

Our birthing stool is made of genuine red and white oak lumber.

 

The top piece is made of a multiple pieces of oak laminated together to form a solid piece that won't warp or split.

 

The solid oak legs are wedged into the top and feet of the birthing stool to provide a solid sitting experience.

 

We clear finish the birthing stool with three layers of top quality finish to provide lasting protection to the wood.

After using the birthing stool simply wipe down with a light detergent and warm water and then wipe dry with a soft cotton cloth.
