Condition:

Excellent Used Vintage Condition - showing only surface scratches - NO plate loss or heel marks. A very fine set - well cared for

 

Box:

The box is original to the set - it is molded to fit the pieces exactly (see pic); the knife holder has clips (see pic) in the top so that you can

                          unclip and pull it forward (see pis) to make it easy to remove the knives. The interior is a beautiful blue velvet like material, the box is

                          solid wood and in sound working condition, there are some minor dings and scratches but I polished it and it looks beautiful
