Pattern # 1866

Stunning Waste Bowl from 1866-1867.

A roman medallion/fair maiden on one side, the other side has empty cartouche for a monogram (but there isn't one). The hoofed feet have faces/lions/demons(? see pic).

Greek key design around the body, with a hand chased motif, the finial is a figural flower.

The condition: excellent - the Waste Bowl features a gleaming bright gold wash on the interior. The exterior has some areas of thinned silver, however in my opinion these areas do not detract from the overall look of the pieces.144 years old, expected minor wear/thinning to the plating. There are some minor spots in the bottom of the bowl (see pics).
