Here is a great Coca Cola cardboard sign, not so much an advertising sign as a warning to bottling plant workers::
This is a 1950's vintage cardboard sign, on somewhat thick stock, featuring the famed Coca Cola button sign logo, a worker at a Coke Bottler enjoying a refreshing Coca Cola, a scary industrial hook, a Coke rack and some empty Coca Cola bottles.
LET'S PUT 'EM BACK IN THE RACK, MAC!
The bottler is telling the employees:
Coke is here
for you to enjoy.
Do Your Part -
Put empties in
the Rack!
The empty bottles must have been a nuisance or safety hazard, if the returns were not put in the Coke bottle rack. The workers were warned not to abuse the privilege of free bottles of Coca-Cola.
If you didn't put the bottles in the rack, Mac, the bottling plant operator is warning you that there may be an end to the freebies.
The sign appears new old stock. It is approx. 12" x 15". It has a small ding in the bottom right corner and a small tear below the worker's right foot. There is now a small piece of clear tape on the back of the tear. However, the sign is extremely attractive and in very good condition.
