Like Al Kaline, Dave Winfield, and very few others, Eddie Yost never played in the minor leagues!

This Eddie Yost vintage autographed Bowman baseball card was issued in 1950 (#163) when "The Walking Man" patrolled third base for the original version of the Washington Nationals.

The Nat's all-star third sacker was a walk machine.  He also played for the Los Angeles Angels (he was an original Gene Autry LA Angel) and Detroit Tigers.  He coached forever for Gil Hodges' New York Mets and with other teams. 

This is not a recent signature.  The Washington Senator autograph is in blue fountain pen, and this antique baseball card was signed nearly 60 years ago.  The card is creased but in person it doesn't look quite as bad as the scan appears.
